I strongly believe that to become our best selves we should constantly be learning new things, improving our skills and diversifying our knowledge.

To this end, whilst studying for my degree in Product Design at Bournemouth University, I joined various companies as an intern in order to explore the many perspectives of the design world. While at Overview Ltd., a security camera company, I worked alongside the in-house design team to create a product that could be used on their product line. Lewis Moberly, a brand identity and graphic design studio, gave me the opportunity to explore the world of graphic design with a bit more depth, working on projects throughout the company’s service offerings, from product packaging to brand direction. At forpeople, I dived into the world of experiential, industrial design. I worked with the team to research, design and develop client projects from inception to completion.

Upon completing my degree, I joined RELAYTO, an early-stage startup, as a design intern in the interest of learning the intricate mechanics of running a successful business, as well as develop my graphic design eye. After 3 months, I impressed enough to be offered a full-time role; after another 3 I became the company’s Design Lead. This expanded my learnings to a much wider scope as my responsibilities increased, often having to quickly adapt for functions such as business operations, human resources and client/customer success.

My development, however, is not constrained to internships and industry experience. I have recently completed a UX design bootcamp course at GA, in addition to completing an AppBuilding course in the past. I’m currently enrolled in a typography and design fundamentals course from TheFutur along with an illustrator course produced by Udemy. I am constantly on the lookout for new ways and things to learn!

Additionally, I love to cook, climb and travel!
